Computer Training


Course Title Dates & times Course Content

Introduction to Computing

Friday, 15 January

10.00-3.00pm

5 sessions

Basic mouse and keyboard skills. Creating simple Word documents, using the Internet and sending/receiving emails.  Participants can complete a City & Guilds ICT Skills for Life qualification. This is a rolling programme and additional courses will be delivered throughout the year.

ITQ Level 1

Wednesday, 6 January for 10 weeks

10.00am - 4.00pm

10 sessions

Using Word, PowerPoint and Publisher to create simple documents with pictures and graphics.  Participants can complete City & Guilds ITQ Level 1, and progress to level 2

Rebound


For young people, 14-19 living in Havering, who are currently not in employment or education, HAVCO are able to offer free pre-vocational training leading to an Open College Network qualification. All participants will be provided with personalised one-to-one support from a Connexion's Adviser to help young people move on into further education or work.

Health & Fitness Starts Wednesday 20 January for 8 weeks at Esporta Gym, 8 sesssions Learn how to keep fit, eat healthy. Design a short fitness regime and help others to achieve their fitness targets.
